I left Boston on 7 August.  I think the following two items sum up Boston well.

Boston has some old(ish) buildings and some new. The co-exist well and produce an interesting skyline.

Quoddy Head

Quoddy Head is the eastern most point of the U.S..

From here you can look out to Grand Manan, which is in Canada.

The cliffs here are dramatic.

There is an arctic bog on Quoddy Head, which is home to many strange and beautiful plants.
